I decided to skip February’s Glossybox since there was nothing in it I was looking forward to… but March’s Glossybox looked interesting and worth a try. I was hoping things would be better than the way February’s box looked.
The theme this month was “Spring Fling” and had products for renewing yourself after the cold of winter. All the items arrived in Glossybox’s usual light pink box and had a very girly feel this month with all its pink color.
Sorry for the late review; wow, it’s already time for April’s Birchboxes to arrive. But anyways… It was March Madness month for Birchbox. I don’t know if I was “mad” about Birchbox this (past) month, but overall, it was pretty solid, little box.

Five items. Well, four plus the beauty extra!
Hi all! It’s the end of the month which means, yes, the two main subscription beauty boxes should be revealing April’s upcoming box spoilers. March’s bag arrived in the middle of March, just in time for spring! March’s theme for ipsy is “The Great Escape” which focuses on travel/spring break. For the price of $10, what all did ipsy-ers get this month?
For this February 2013 ipsy “glam bag”, the theme this month was “Red Carpet Ready”! Kinda appropriate this month due to all the star-studded award shows that had aired on television and hopefully, according to ipsy, these products will get you ready for the lights, cameras, and action of the season. More inside!
I was surprised to check my mailbox late last week to find a package from Two Cosmetics with the Daily Palette I had ordered just a couple of days ago. So props to the company for their great shipping times! Along with the order, I also picked up two gel liners (review coming soon!) and was happy to see that they had also added in a free gel liner brush with the order. That’s just really awesome of Two Cosmetics! Read on for my first impressions of The Daily Palette.
Earlier this February, I took advantage of Julep‘s offer for a free starter box with the code ‘FREEMAVEN’. (I don’t know if it still works or not.) Well, the only thing you had to pay was the $3.99 shipping and handling which still made it a good deal. I normally wouldn’t pay $20 a month for a box of just nail polishes and hand creams, but I do love having the option to skip a month, if needed.

Just browsing my Youtube video feed, I came across a video showing a Urban Decay (original) Naked Palette dupe from a company called Two Cosmetics. The beauty vlogger saaammage gave a very good and detailed review here and overall, the colors in the Daily Palette from Two Cosmetics were about an 85% dupe-match from her.
I had to check out the Two Cosmetics shop and see what they were about and was happy to see that it was an independent company run by two sisters. Their motto on the site is “makeup with a cause.” For every item purchased, they donate an item to a nonprofit, which is something I definitely like.
With the discount code saaammage, you can get 30% off the price which is now around $23. This makes the palette under $20 and had free shipping too! Overall, if you’re looking for a neutral eye shadow palette almost like the Naked palette, right now, this would be a great one to pick up.
Looking up other blogger reviews, Two Cosmetics also has other good products too such as single eye shadows and gel eyeliners. Are you interested in this company or have you tried Two Cosmetics before? I’m interested in your feedback!
