Blush.com/Dermstore/Hairenvy are the web stores featuring a newer subscription beauty box that includes a mix of full-size and travel size sample items. The box itself will be worth over $100 every month.
The products range from cosmetic items, hair products, and skin care products and the cost for a monthly box is $24.95 or a one time box for $34.95
Two days after ordering, my box arrived. I was quite pleased with Blush’s fast shipping, but the box’s presentation could be improved. Instead of being in a box with nice packaging, like Birchbox or Glossybox, there was a big, black ziplock bag with items just tossed in and a free gift with purchase on the outside of the bag. Also, there was no card or insert included describing the items received or how to use them.
What was inside the box then?
Tendu Ultimate Hair Conditioning Treatment Mask / Full Size $60
Vichy Eau Thermal / Full Size $12
SkinCeuticals Micro Exfoliating Scrub .25 oz *Gift with purchase
Obagi Nu-derm Foaming Gel / Sample Value $12
SkinMedica Ultra Sheer Moisturizer / Sample Value $6.50
Make-up Designory Eye Pencil in Black / Full size $13
Paula Dorf Lip Liner in Sultry / Full size $20
Total Value: $123.50
I’ve seen other reviews with box variations; some boxes have had a blush, dry shampoo, and serum. Preview on my items received below.
Ipsy is “Pretty in Pink” for April with most of the products this month featuring this rosy hue! How does this month compare overall with other ipsy bags?
Ipsy has increased or improved in its variations this month with products having a different color or even one with a different eye shadow brands.
I decided to skip February’s Glossybox since there was nothing in it I was looking forward to… but March’s Glossybox looked interesting and worth a try. I was hoping things would be better than the way February’s box looked.
The theme this month was “Spring Fling” and had products for renewing yourself after the cold of winter. All the items arrived in Glossybox’s usual light pink box and had a very girly feel this month with all its pink color.

Just browsing my Youtube video feed, I came across a video showing a Urban Decay (original) Naked Palette dupe from a company called Two Cosmetics. The beauty vlogger saaammage gave a very good and detailed review here and overall, the colors in the Daily Palette from Two Cosmetics were about an 85% dupe-match from her.
I had to check out the Two Cosmetics shop and see what they were about and was happy to see that it was an independent company run by two sisters. Their motto on the site is “makeup with a cause.” For every item purchased, they donate an item to a nonprofit, which is something I definitely like.
With the discount code saaammage, you can get 30% off the price which is now around $23. This makes the palette under $20 and had free shipping too! Overall, if you’re looking for a neutral eye shadow palette almost like the Naked palette, right now, this would be a great one to pick up.
Looking up other blogger reviews, Two Cosmetics also has other good products too such as single eye shadows and gel eyeliners. Are you interested in this company or have you tried Two Cosmetics before? I’m interested in your feedback!
The Daily Palette
January’s ipsy Glam Bag was pretty decent, maybe even awesome this month! No eyeliner or lip gloss in sight! Read on for all the products and my reviews for January’s bag.
Here’s everything that was included! The theme this month was Super Stars.
Whoa! I’m still getting used to typing 2013 rather than 2012 as the date. Anyways, companies are now releasing new Spring 2013 products and collections. Here are a few makeup products catching my eye.
Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder | I spotted the display at ULTA this pass week and my shade was completely sold out. Actually all the pressed powders in all colors from the Nearly Naked collection were gone! One of my favorite beauty vloggers says that this powder feels so amazing so I’m tempted to give it a try.
L’oreal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer | I’m always looking to trying new concealers and the True Match line usually matches my skin pretty well.
Maybelline New Color Tattoos | The 5 new permanent shades are Inked in Pink, Silver Strike, Gold Rush, Barely Branded, and Electric Blue! I’m most excited to find the newest neutral shade, Barely Branded. I’ve seen the new display at my local Walmart at a retail price around $7 each. Temptalia gave this shade a glowing review here!
Maybelline Color Whisper by Color Sensational | I’ve have never tried a Revlon Lip Butter which is what the new Color Whisper lipstick is just like. Super moisturizing and beautiful color is what this new product claims to do for your lips which I would definitely need for the rest of winter!
What products are on your wishlist for 2013? I would love to hear your recommendations!
